Chromium metal in its refined form is one of the most strategically important industrial metals in the world. With a melting point of 1,907°C, exceptional hardness, and a natural self-healing oxide layer that resists corrosion even at extreme temperatures, it is irreplaceable in stainless steel production, superalloy manufacture, and hard chrome plating. The broad category of chromium-bearing engineering alloys encompasses some of the most high-value materials in industrial metallurgy. Nickel-chromium alloys (including Inconel, Incoloy, and Hastelloy grades), cobalt-chromium systems (Stellite and related wear alloys), and chrome-moly structural alloys all derive their defining performance characteristics from chromium content. Electrolytic chromium, produced by the electrodeposition of chromium from a chromium-bearing electrolyte solution, represents the highest-purity commercially available form of chromium metal, typically running 98.7% to 99.5% Cr with tightly controlled impurity profiles. It has historically been the chromium of choice for rotor-grade aerospace superalloys, where demanding gas turbine applications require exceptionally low levels of tramp elements such as lead, bismuth, selenium, and sulfur. As one of the most strategically controlled specialty metals on the market, genuine electrolytic-grade chromium commands a significant premium over standard metallurgical grade.

Terms Are Agreed

Once a buyer is identified, terms are negotiated between you and the buyer. We facilitate but do not take title to the material — this is a direct seller-to-buyer transaction.

Our commission is collected only after the product ships and is confirmed received. No upfront fees, no retainers. Our success depends entirely on yours.
